Let’s look at oxidation rate as an example:
If you think about the internal furnace within your body as a campfire releasing energy from fuel, then you’ll be able to visualize how different fuels impact how you feel depending on your Metabolic Type.
There are three types of oxidizers: Fast, Slow and Mixed.
A fast oxidizer burns through fuel very quickly. Eating simple carbs for a fast oxidizer is like throwing paper onto the campfire… it burns super fast, with a burning hot flame and then the fire dies down into frazzled embers. Fast oxidizers need harder to break down foods that act like logs. Their camp fire needs slow burning logs for consistent energy.
A slow oxidizer with logs on their fire is going to go sloooooowwwwww. Like a train chugging up a hill. A slow oxidizer needs easy to burn fuels… carbs…. to be a larger part of their diet to maintain consistent energy and avoid feeling lethargic after a meal. 
Mixed oxidizers sit somewhere in the middle.
